About X-Plane scenery:

This scenery was created after my Starship development model became useful. I wanted to have a real place to do test flights with Starship and Starhopper. It is not completely accurate. The goal was to create something fast. So in the beginning, I mostly used objects from the default X-Plane scenery library, like polygons, fences, helipads, fuel tanks, buildings, lights etc.

But then I also created some new custom objects:

– Starship launch frame
– Super heavy launch pad ( in construction )
– Super heavy launch tower ( in construction )
– Landing pad with SpaceX logo target
– Starhopper
– Fuel tanks
– clay barriers

The main objects show the situation in April 2021.

Installation tips

Unzip files from downloaded archive into X-Plane Custom Scenery folder. It should look then like this:

There are two add-on sceneries:
Airport_Boca_Chica_Add_On_Vehicles … requires OpenScenery Library
Airport_Boca_Chica_Add_On_3D_People … requires 3D People Library

You can find them inside the Boca Chica scenery folder.
Activate them by dragging their folders to the main “Custom Scenery” folder.

Three meaningful combinations are possible ( if you have both libraries both OpenScenery and 3D People libraries )

1 — base scenery only ———————— for test flight time

2 — base scenery + vehicles —————— off work time
Airport_Boca_Chica_Add_On_Vehicles
Airport_Boca_Chica_Launch_Site

3 — base scenery + vehicles + people ——— for construction hours, it’s alive there
