A COVID19 outbreak was reported in the Asiatic lions at Arignar Anna Zoological Park- Vandalur Zoo, Chennai on June 3. Few of the lions found symptomatic and one of them died due to the disease. All Asiatic lions have been quarantined, treatment underway.
